On Thursday, June 22, 2006, Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre held its Annual Meeting of the Corporation. Three, three-year vacancies and two, two-year vacancies were filled.

Returning to the Board of Directors for a three-year term is: Angele Brunelle and Steve Henderson. Joining the Board for the first time is Susan Fraser Wilson for a three-year term.

Ron Nelson and Blair Smith were each elected for a two-year term.

Continuing their terms of office on the Board is: Robert Altree, Janet Gordon, Gilbert Labine, Ingrid Parkes, and Wayne Tocheri.

The 15 member Board includes the following ex-officio Directors:

• Dr. Gordon Porter, Chief of Staff
• Ron Saddington, President and CEO
• President, Medical Staff
• Vice President, Medical Staff
• Dr. Roger Strasser, Dean, Northern Ontario School of Medicine

Officers of the Corporation are:

• Chair – Ron Nelson
• 1st Vice Chair – Ingrid Parkes
• 2nd Vice Chair – Angele Brunelle
• Past Chair – Wayne Tocheri
• President and CEO – Ron Saddington
