On Thursday, June 19, 2008, Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre held its Annual Meeting of the Corporation. Four, three-year vacancies and one two-year vacancy were filled.

Returning to the Board of Directors for a three-year term is: Ron Nelson and Gil Labine. Returning to the Board of Directors for the remainder of a two-year term is: Sharon Cole-Paterson. Joining the Board for the first time is Stella Rose Osawamick-Hogan and Jay Storeshaw.

Continuing their terms of office on the Board is: Angele Brunelle, Susan Fraser Wilson, Steve Henderson, Ingrid Parkes, and Nancy Veal.

The 15 member Board includes the following ex-officio Directors:

Dr. Gordon Porter, Vice President, Medical and Academic Affairs/Chief of Staff
Ron Saddington, President and CEO
Dr. Gabriel Mapeso, President, Medical Staff
Dr. Stephen French, Vice President, Medical Staff
Dr. Roger Strasser, Dean, Northern Ontario School of Medicine
