Barbeques, summer campfires and fireworks are a major source
of burns during the summer. A serious burn can happen in seconds
and can affect the lives of its victims and their families
for a lifetime. Never leave a grill or campfire unattended.
Children should not be allowed to play nearby. Always keep
water nearby in case of a fire.
- Keep children away from all sources of fire (i.e.
matches, lighters, barbeque lighter fluid and grills).
- An adult should be responsible for lighting the
grill or starting a campfire.
- Children should not be allowed to handle or light
fireworks at anytime.
