- The surgery unit on the third floor is a very large
area of the hospital.
- In this hospital, the surgery unit has 14 smaller
rooms called operating rooms where many different
operations are taking place all day long.
- Since there are so many operations taking place,
you may need to wait in the waiting area until it
is time for your operation.
- Your parents can wait with you.
- When it is time for your operation, a nurse will
bring you into one of the operating rooms.
- Don't forget to give your mom and/or dad a hug and
tell them you will be seeing them shortly.
- During your operation, your parents can wait for
you back in your room or in the waiting room.
